You know, I’ve developed a theory about why this is. I think when you’ve hit the floor, hard, you are forced to face yourself and accept that you are your problem. It’s a control thing.

People think that if only the job was different, or the wife was different, or the kids were different, their lives would be better, but when you’re down to where it’s just you and the floor, you realize that the change has to come from within. Because you can only change yourself. How you act..and how you react. Control of anything else is an illusion.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
