You know, I am also at my most creative and content from about 11pm-2am, so I completely get where you are coming from. I woke at 5am out of necessity for years, and no matter how early I went to bed, I never could get my natural rhythm ( which is pumping at night) to cooperate and let me fall asleep. I also much prefer the solitude at night to that in the morning.

I don’t think everyone is made for mornings.

That said, I think that for you to criticize the author for implying this solution is universal only to make the same claim about your own schedule is just a wee bit hypocritical, don’t you?

Both you and the author are unique, just like everybody else. What works for him may not work for you, but it has clearly improved his quality of life, and to assume he would be happier doing it your way after writing a detailed response describing all the ways you were offended by him assuming you would be happier doing it his way…okay, it made me giggle a little. ☺
