After the funeral and burial, Fairfax County Police Chief Edwin Roessler Jr. told AP that police have “absolutely no evidence” the attack was motivated by hate. — NPR

You beat a teenage girl with a baseball bat, sexually assault her, beat her more, and when she’s finally dead, you throw her away like garbage in a pond on the side of the road.

No matter what reason you give for doing all of that — road rage, kids were mean to you in kindergarten, nobody loves you, the meth was bad…regardless of the OFFICIAL WHY, HOW THE FUCK IS THAT NOT MOTIVATED BY HATE????

Doesn’t any act this brutal have at its core plain, old human hatred?

I get your point, and it seems clearly racially (or religiously?) motivated to me, as well. But that NPR can release a statement saying this murder contained ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF HATRED just makes me want to puke. And, I gotta confess, a little bit it makes me want to hurt someone.

Treating the public like we’re too stupid to warrant exposure to accurate information will only breed more and more of this type of activity, as we have seen, are seeing, and will continue to see. Because i don’t see things changing any time soon.

Not fucking motivated by hate (shakes head).

That statement is a symptom of our country’s epic sickness. And I just think we’re too far gone for anything short of extinction to make things better.

So, that pretty much sucks.

Thank you for giving Nabra a voice tonight.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
