You are welcome. It seemed particularly apt today, because I think it is important to remember that I wrote this BEFORE the big American tragedy of late. Some seem so quick to place the whole blame for recent events on a specific person. But we--THE MAJORITY OF 'US’--have had a part in creating the climate that allowed that one person to grow and multiply and infest.

It was constant and gradual, the slip…hard to measure. Like glaciers moving. Or mountains. But slowly, more and more of what was unacceptable yesterday (mostly the way we treat each other, IMO…and that means the way we treat others, regardless of how they treat us /%I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT BEING ASSAULTED AND ABUSED. I AM TALKING ABOUT NORMAL INTERACTIONS WITH PEOPLE, WHETHER WE ENJOY THEM OR NOT%/) became normal today.

It works the other way, too…the problem is that not everyone agrees about what is acceptable and what is not. And somewhere along the way, we have forgotten that not everyone has to agree with us to deserve to be treated with respect.

Because if we are waiting until we convince everyone that we are right, to start treating people right, I’ve got bad news…

That was way more than I meant to say lol…

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
