Yesyesyes oh yes. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to let my children learn, and absolutely one of, if not THE, most important.
Unfortunately, I’ve found it to be one of those chunks of truth each person has to discover on their own. I’ve never met anyone who learned this one from a book.
Learning it hurts, and so does watching someone else have to figure it out.
