Yes, I understand having a genuine issue with Clinton’s actions or her politics. I certainly have my reservations. But I’d wager that a large percentage of Trump supporters know little to nothing about either of those subjects beyond what’s been spouted at Trump rallies. Like it or not, many, many people are politically illiterate even in this day and age. And in many cases (I’ve heard many more misogynistic rants about “women in politics” than this one pastor), absent being armed with the facts, these people base their vote on NOT wanting a woman in office. And I truly believe that all things being equal in this race, if Clinton were a man, Trump wouldn’t even be a speck in the polls anymore.
