Yep. I read everything I can find on cluster B. My father is one for the annals. If no one is paying attention to him, he will fake a stroke or MI. When he’s asleep, I think he TRULY THINKS THE WORLD STOPS. And he of course sleeps during the day and stays up all night. He will get up from a nap and freak out if he doesn’t immediately see my mom. When she was younger and her giveashit still had some miles left, she would come running when he woke up yelling her name. Now she does whatever she wants to do. She’s 68.
But when they were younger ( I swear I’m going somewhere with this), if she wasn’t there when he opened his eyes, he would get even somehow. She would pay.
He honestly thought that if he wasn’t doing anything, then obviously, neither was she. Just waiting at the foot of the bed for him to open his eyes and wind her up again. Like she was just this prop in his life that ceased to exist when he couldn’t see her.
And that is just one example. There are hundreds of creepy narc things.
