When I was little, developing teeth, our water was unflouridated (sp?). As a result, I have terrible teeth, no matter what I do. Many years ago I had to have 3 teeth pulled because I didn’t have dental insurance and couldn’t afford restoration. Even now, WITH dental insurance, I can’t afford implants. Because of the missing teeth, my remaining teeth and my jaw are required to take up the slack for those three teeth (all back teeth of one type or other). Therefore they are wearing out too. I am constantly accused of meth abuse. I have terrible jaw pain. I get how poverty exascerbates normal wear and tear, and yet, there is so little compassion in the medical community.

Sorry for your pain.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
