Well..i think his point was not to let the book live on only electronically (not so much literacy). I think, at least for me, it was a shout out to the aesthetics of a book. its feel, and smell, and wear and tear and history.

can’t get that stuff in a Kindle. Though i’m not opposed to them as a supplemental reading source. I collect signed copies of books. Can’t do that on a Kindle…

right?
