well I haven’t singularly solved the testosterone problem but I’m not a fan of castration as a rule.
part of it is societal. it seems more and more we are treating this as an expectation to fulfill rather than actions that get you cast out of society. there are so many angles. the death of respecting our elders. the entire criminal justice system (I’m referring to the US because I’m not trying to pretend I have any significant knowledge of how other countries function), poverty, masculine and feminine ideals. one thing I feel is getting worse is the way we keep taking rough play away from boys. and as parents we hover and overschedule them to death. I think they spend far too much time staring at a screen. not because I am anti-gamer but because they need to move their physical bodies much more. this is an age old truth, men and violence. I dont know if there is a cure. but present technology and culture and society is making it worse. we could at least try not to do that.
personally I’m all for flipping the breaker on social media completely. I know, impossible. but I think it is ruining humanity. whole other issue I guess.
I don’t have answers. I just think it wouldnt kill us to ask the questions and try to participate in a reasoned discourse rather than passing all the blame to the other side as if everyone doesn’t play a part in the problem.
