Trolls are a lot like narcissists. They’re in it for sport. Period. They are fueled by your increasingly frantic attempts to reason with them and so have no intention of being reasonable. Hence the continuing to pick at a single, pointless point. Hence the word salad. You are their narcissistic supply and so the only cure is to disengage completely. By now, of course, chances are others have joined the insanity but you can’t worry about them. Get out, step away, let whatever happens happen and eventually they’ll find somewhere else to play. Take down your post, if necessary. You’ll feel like they won but what you have to realize is WHO FUCKING CARES?.
