This is a fabulous critique (at least that’s the best word I can summon…I know it’s not exactly that) and a very enjoyable read. I also am somewhat atheistic; and I say somewhat because I’m an addict in recovery and I put a lot of stock into living a spiritually fit life, but I do not believe in an omniscient, always present, conscious being that resides up in the sky watching us, each and every one, and counting every hair on our heads. :) I do believe that there are larger forces at work than 8 billion beady-eyed creatures running themselves and their planet into the (metaphorical) ground, but honestly, I haven’t a clue what those forces are beyond scientific discovery and explanation.

I apologize that it took so long to get this published; we are working through some changes here at TGM and things may be a little pokey for a bit here.

Thank you for your submission!

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
