Thing is, you shouldn’t HAVE to check for unexpected tags before publishing a response. Because

A. Medium’s algorithm is SO inaccurate they shouldn’t have ever rolled it out.

And

B. Only OP’s should be tagged for the search engine anyway. It has its moments, but the more time that passes, the more this whole “responses are stories too” thing starts to feel like the bastard child of “corporations are people”.

Square peg, people. Round hole.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
