The way I understand it is that our feed is made up not of stuff WE recommend, but of stuff OUR FOLLOWERS recommend ( or maybe it’s followees. Or both.) ***BTW, this means that we don’t necessarily get stuff from people we follow/who follow us in our feed, so much as stuff from people liked by people we follow. so get all your followers to follow each other so you can see your friends’ stuff without having to hire a PI to find it for you.

So recommending my own story will propel it into someone’s feed that I follow/am followed by, instead of when I wait and then because someone ELSE recommends it first and I follow them etc., my stuff ends up in MY feed.

Which I hate.

I know that was about as clear as mud. Sorry.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
