Thank you for the birthday wishes!!!

Oh, Lord. I don’t ACTUALLY plan on man hunting to save on rent. I was being hyperobolic; I just feel like the world is set up in such a way that to remain single is to struggle mightily.

I have mentioned the roommate option before; very difficult to find someone who wants to live with me and my kids or who we would live with.

The point is, I work 50+ hours a week in a professional position doing difficult, meaningful work. I should be able to afford a decent place to hang my hat. But I can’t. Not even close.
