And furthermore, (looking at you, Lindsay Graham, over there COMPLETELY missing the point) no, Kavanaugh is no Cosby, it’s true. For many reasons, but for our purposes this week, because he’s not trying to be a comedian. He’s trying to become one of the most influential people in our nation, where he will make new law, some of which will dictate a woman’s congress over her own physical body.

Yet he can’t even muster up enough respect for women to find even an ounce of compassion for THIS traumatized woman. He can do no better than completely ignore how extensively their encounter influenced the trajectory of her life, while bemoaning the perceived damage the accusation is inflicting on his. And he was blessed with 35 years of ignorant bliss she didn’t get to enjoy.

He is already proving his inability to separate his duty to country from his personal beliefs, or to even try to understand that just because another person’s perception of something (a 40 year-old high school memory) is different from his does not mean it is without merit or value.

these are very important qualities every supreme court justice should possess.

too bad the Senate judiciary committee doesn’t give a fuck.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
