Thank you. One of the reasons I don’t subscribe to organized religion. Any God I pray to is not one who would send people to hell because of who they love. My God would never send the most anguished and hopeless of us there, either. Those who attempt or complete suicide-an act always performed at the lowest and most alone point of a person’s existence, I would think-need God more than anyone else. Why would a just God choose that very moment to abandon them? Nope.

This was beautiful, and it brought back painful memories. Well done.
