Oh, thinking of Calvin just gave me the feels. I always think of the one where Calvin is old and saying good bye to Hobbes (tears!).

And yes, I am a partially-reformed grammar snob ( there was a time, not long ago, I would have used the term Grammar Nazi, but, well…that was when I was naive enough to believe LITERAL Nazis were a thing of the past. ) but the Internet has cured me of that proclivity. It was that or gouge out my eyeballs in protest.

I’m learning to appreciate substance over style. It was hard-won, and if something lacks both attributes, I’m pretty sure that somewhere in Heaven, an angel loses its wings.

What can I say? We persevere.
