Nine and thirteen. I’d never heard of it before then. They were old enough to answer the questions independently, but I know them well enough I could have taken it on their behalf and been pretty darn close (if they had been younger).
I had been busting my butt as a single mom trying to make sure they always got the same EVERYTHING, so finding out they actually needed very different things from me…yeah I felt like Maria spinning on the mountaintop.
