Last year, my daughter came home with a new vocabulary word she didn’t understand. She asked me, “Mom, what’s propaganda?”

I started to explain it the way it was taught to me in 1984 or something and stopped when it didn’t fit anymore. I just looked at her and said, “Wow. Everything.”

I agree that truth isn’t even on the spectrum anymore most of the time. I wrote this a year ago, before Medium, when I still believed the media was at least trying. I believed they were biased but not intentionally so.

My thoughts on this subject have changed a great deal in the last 12 months.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
