Larry Couch,

I heard the whole press conference. I make a point of going in to my daily gathering of the news with the intent to compile it from different points of view than my own, to remain understanding of where other people come from, and to avoid falling totally off the left field somewhere. For a while I actually believed Trump was going to remain professional for maybe the first time ever…but then it began.

He knew he would get asked about the Flynn/Russia situation. He could have easily prepared a statement and shut that down but instead he chose to waffle around and hem and haw and deflect.

And the way he was condescending to certain reporters..was so childish and unpresidential.

All they did was ask him questions he didn’t want to answer. It is their JOB. He doesn’t like the question he LITERALLY slams the reporter ( petty shit that basically boils down to 🎶na na na na na na, I don’t like you🎶).

I’m sorry. I was raised by a man like Donald Trump. It was terrifying. I see the way his mind works and so no. I am not going to give him the benefit of the doubt on blatant lies, misogyny, racism…if he does good I won’t pretend he didn’t. But I also won’t pretend he “didn’t mean to lie” or was “given the wrong information”.

It’s his job to have the right information.

And by the way, what exactly does he bring to the table? Regarding ANYTHING he’s done, we pretty much only have his word for how great he is. If a monkey inherited enough money, the law of averages says he would win some and lose some, too. What about him makes him any better of a businessman than anyone else? He has failed at a good chunk of his businesses. He has cheated people who trusted him out of millions of dollars. Regular people who didn’t have the money to lose.

He doesn’t care about people.

He was abusive to his first wife, and who knows who else. Charges were dropped. And I don’t believe for a single second that was because the incidents did not occur.

He has bought his way out of scrape after scrape after scrape.

This is all a matter of public record. Its not gossip. It’s not invented. This is who he is.

And I would still rather have him then pence.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
