It is very disheartening. I said from the moment Trump got the nomination that this was not the time to try and shatter the glass ceiling in the White House. I worried that the fight to change the establishment and the fight for gender equality could not victoriously co-exist in an election. It divided people at a time when we really needed to be presenting a unified front.

It is beyond heartbreaking to have ended up here.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
