It IS crazy. Reality TV in general is in my opinion the biggest symbol of our downfall as a society. I refuse to partake in any of it. Not talk shows, not sensationalist game shows, or the outrageous exploitation of poor families or the sought after exploitation of the rich and spoiled. Not cooking shows, or talent shows. I despise it all. But about Six Feet Under, I am a shameless Grey’s Anatomy addict. I had never seen it before about a year ago but it has become depression medication, or escapism, or something therapeutic for me that I don’t understand which scares me a little, if I may be honest.

This comment was originally intended to remind us that Oprah also brought us the notorious Dr. Oz, a modern day snake oil salesman who has singlehandedly bilked desperate people all over the world out of millions of dollars.

Go, Oprah!!!

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
