Indeed, that’s true. I thought while I was writing this about all the marginalized people I was excluding by making it about white women and white men, but I was writing about a white woman and a white man.

I didn’t exclude because I wasn’t considering everyone else, it’s just…white privilege is a fact of life. And the fact is that even in the midst of white privilege, white woman is considered a non-person relative to white man.

For women of color, or people who identify as something other than cis, and straight, the reality is even more bleak.

And that is even MORE fucked up. I’m so embarrassed for America right now. I have been for a long time, but I’m about at my limit.
