I think that is where women have the most work to do. A predator like Weinstein is pathological. If he assaults you, you can be sure that you’re either not the first, or you’re not the last. I would never blame a woman for not coming forward; it’s terrifying. So to put the responsibility for future victims on that first woman’s shoulders would be counterproductive. But by speaking up about what happened to her, she may be saving another woman, or many other women.

And that’s not a small thing.
