I think that ( and I’m not speaking to ANYTHING but what I highlighted…I haven’t read the related content at all so not aimed at anyone here ) women who claim to be feminists and then shame other women for choosing to live differently than they choose to live, or for not embracing feminism are just another brand of female oppressor.

The measure of equality is choice. When two groups are unequal, it’s because one group doesn’t have access to the same choices as the other group.

Gender equality means (in part) that women and men are able to choose equally whether they want to be the breadwinner in a family, or the nurturer, or both.

Just because a woman wants to take care of her husband in a way I wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole (I am so down on men right now lol) doesn’t mean she is holding women back, or even that she’s not a feminist.

It’s choosing what we want to do with our freedoms that makes us free, even if to some, our choice looks like a tether.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
