I think many of my daughter’s problems arose when Alex got sick. She never forgave him for changing things. She has been an extremely abusive big sister, who changed him from a little boy who thought she hung the moon into a cynical and suspicious kid who constantly expects the worst.

But truthfully? She must have been predisposed to be a certain way. Some kids become protective of a fragile sibling? Others become jealous. ☹
