I so understand. You may think that because I am divorced with children, rather than single without, that I don’t. But I do. I’m 42. I’ve been divorced for 5 years, from a raging narcissist who managed to remarry within a year to a woman better educated making more money than him. My kids switch every week from his $400,000 3000 sq ft home where they have access to everything their hearts desire to my rented one bedroom apartment where I sleep on the couch. Where I’ve slept. For 5 years. I graduated 2nd in my class and finished college and work my ass off and still can’t seem to advance to a position that allows us to make ends meet. I could go on but I shouldn’t have gone this far. I just wanted you to know I understand.
