I never leave my kids' sides without saying “I love you.”

My nephew drowned in 2002 at 13, and his mother has always regretted that she can’t remember if she told him that the day it happened.

The last time I saw my father we were arguing and I didn’t hug him goodbye before I boarded the plane.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
