I know this probably isn’t what you want to hear, but I’m going to tell you anyway. And it has nothing to do with how old anyone else thinks you look.

As an almost 43 year-old, 5’2", jeans and t-shirt, throw on a little blush to look alive, cute-but-not-beautiful woman who got carded well into my 30s, I want to tell YOU to stop worrying so much about how others view you and enjoy looking youthful.

It’s a hell of a blow when the years catch up. Cherish this time of your life-when you get to blend a youthful appearance with an experienced mind.

I know it can be frustrating to be underestimated or underutilized because someone assumes you’re a student or an intern. But it seems you’ve handled that.

Just enjoy it. For me. ☺

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
