I hear women I respect and care about on this thread echoing this sentiment, and that is your choice to make. But I have to say-sentiment is what it is. The whole POINT of pro choice when looking at the (Federal) legal aspect is that “choice” is not qualified. Women get to make the choice whether they’re using abortion as birth control (which I do find appalling, believe me), or whether they’re doing it for financial reasons, or whether they don’t want to stop drinking, or a thousand other reasons that I don’t personally agree with. There is no moral obligation, regarding termination of pregnancy prior to viability (under the law), within the law. We would hope that women would consider all other options before choosing to have an abortion, but ultimately, the choice is NOT required to be treated as a “lesser evil” choice. It’s just a choice. And every woman gets to make that choice for herself. I don’t have to agree with it or like it, and neither do you.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
