I feel your pain. My mom is not my issue so much as my dad is.

And my little brother, who is a walking, talking replica of my dad at his age…

They’re both raving, narcissistic drunks. But neither of them would EVER admit it.

I got sober almost 7 years ago and they still talk down to me and treat me like they’re better than me.

It’s fine. Whatever.

The person who has the strength to stop the cycle in the family cycling the drain is always the scapegoat. We’ve admitted fault, don’t you see. We have owned our part in the mess. Normal people would follow suit. Our people can’t see past the noses on their faces.

We admitted we made mistakes, don’t you see?

In their eyes, problem solved. What do they have to be accountable for? We already SAID we were sorry.

We should thank our lucky stars we have a family who stands by us no matter what!

Screwups that we are.

Lord I’m sorry apparently you hit a sore spot!

Lol

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
