I do too, jaden violet . Learn a ton from the people here. But my brain gets overloaded , especially when something controversial is happening.
I don’t have a lot of time to spend here. Like I said, I don’t want the social part to change. Not even a little. There are just times-during the work day, for instance, when I would like to shut it down and just focus on tech articles, or parenting pieces, without the ensuing discussion. And then turn it back on again later, when my kids are down and I can participate.
It wouldn’t be turned off for anyone else ( unless they wanted it that way)- you guys would still be yammerin' away and I would catch up later. ☺
It’s the reason I left Facebook to come here. Too many copy pastes and arguments and trolls being assholes. Sometimes the noise gets too loud for me and I just need things to quiet down.
And I don’t think I’m the only one.
I love it here, but they are still always working on ways to improve the user experience. This would, for me. But it wouldn’t change anything for you. And that, to me, seems like a hell of an improvement. ☺
