I can stop your worrying right now. You are bright, talented, beautiful, and willing. You will be more so in the future. So yes, this you will be a memory and that will be bittersweet and no, there is nothing you can do to change that except for stagnate. Which is not something I think you’re willing to do. We all look back with some longing at the person we were but those who are doing it right will be better and better versions of ourselves, and you are doing it right. Silly to mourn inevitability before it even gets here. Then you have to mourn it twice. Celebrate instead. Always celebrate.


Someone who didn’t always do it right and still freaking celebrates herself. Because if she won’t, who will?

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
