I actually have a piece titled, “The Line in the Sand”, about me breaking my own biggest rule and sleeping with a man, even after I found out the truth about his wife.

I wrote it when I still thought I knew the truth. I realize now that I had no clue what was going on and that I never will.

So that piece just gathers dust. But I thought it interesting that you used the turn of phrase exactly the way I did there. ☺
