Humanity’s ridiculous need to manipulate people and circumstances outside ourselves with the hope that if everything “out there” behaves a certain way, we will be okay.

In reality, the only way to be okay is to be okay even when nothing “out there” is working out the way we want it to. Even if all the people we think we need disappear.

But we think some entity owes us an okay, and so when we see something not behaving the way we want it to, we force it.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
