I was JUST thinking about some of the articles I’ve seen that seemed TRULY angry about the content on Medium, or maybe angry about the way content is distributed…I’m not exactly sure where the anger was directed but I’ve only seen a couple of “listicles”, and I’ve had “how to” stuff pop up a couple of times a day, and if I want to know “how to” then I read them, and if I don’t then I move on.

I get to see exactly what I want to see here, and I am loving it, too. I have had nothing but positive interaction here. I do want to grow in my writing, but I’m kind of fragile right now and the kind words are building my confidence. When I’m ready, I’ll ask for constructive feedback and I’ve no doubt the people here in my corner will provide that.

I think it’s great. It’s not a perfect platform because it’s a dynamic platform and the users change every day, so the needs and expectations change every day. It will never be perfect for anyone; in a way, that should make it perfect for everyone. :)

it totally won’t, though. lol

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
