*by the way, I’m not even disagreeing with you, and I don’t believe the other poster was either. she was merely citing potential contributing factors to mothers abusing their children. and I’ll add one (or restate?)…Single parent homes are far more likely to consist of a mother as primary caregiver, than a father (in 2014 in the UK, over a91%, in fact). So at least part of this is a numbers game.
