Elliot Nichols this brings tears to my eyes, because I have made many, many mistakes during my son’s life and this has always been my experience with him

He just LOVES me. He is about to turn 10 and he no longer thinks I’m perfect; he is aware of my flaws -- some of them enormous -- and he still just LOVES me. And losing that is one of those worries that cost me sleep. I always just hope that I don’t ruin it, or ruin him in some way.

This post gives me hope.

Thank you.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
