Deborah Foster 🍁 you have one of the sharpest minds I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

So I just wanted to make a couple of comments in regards to your protagonist.

First of all, if my father, who lacks the determination to wipe his own ass, can successfully navigate the disability maze and come out with a 100% disabled determination because literally the only thing that was powerful enough to motivate him to take any kind of action for any reason was the knowledge that if he were to 'win’, he would never have to leave the couch again, I am certain your wife character can navigate those shark infested waters successfully. She is clearly ACTUALLY disabled, and my father is just a good liar.

If she were to do that, she could support herself. I know chronic pain is horrifically depressing and difficult and, well…painful.

But death is so…dead.

She doesn’t want to be dead. Nonono…

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, but I know I want it to be spelled right and punctuated correctly. I guess that’s something.
