And you will never be able to recall, exactly, your life before Rory ever again. I’m still not sure why it happens. Parent amnesia is weird. I’ll bet your wife had birth pain amnesia as soon as Rory was out. I can’t remember the pain of birthing either of my kids. So, that’s a blessing. I think. :)

(And remember, Rory’s birthday is also the anniversary of you and your wife becoming parents, which is your best and most important job from here on out. I hope you get her a little token each year on that date, just to remind you both of that. Lol. I think parents should celebrate becoming parents as enthusiastically as we celebrate births. :) )
